UAB Baseball Announces the 2022 Fall Ball Schedule

BIRMINGHAM – Fall baseball is quickly approaching which means UAB Baseball is back. Head Coach Casey Dunn has announced the 2022 Fall baseball schedule entering his second year with the Blazers. All competitions are considered exhibition games in preparation for the regular season beginning in the spring.
UAB will host fall scrimmages every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:30 P.M. starting on Mon., Sept. 19. All scrimmages will be held at Young Memorial Field on campus and are open to the public.
The Blazers will travel to Athens, Ga. to play the Georgia Bulldogs on Oct. 16 at 1:00 P.M. at Foley Field. The Bulldogs finished 36-23 last season after advancing to round one of the NCAA Division I Regionals.
Before heading back on the road, the Blazers will be back home for their Halloween scrimmage on Oct. 27.
UAB will take on the defending National Champions, the Ole Miss Rebels, on Oct. 29 at Swayze Field in Oxford, Miss. with the time to be announced. The Rebels brought home the national title to end the 2022 season 42-23.
The Blazers look forward to the 2023 season after finishing last season 31-25 (13-17 C-USA) and making their first postseason appearance since 2018 in the Conference USA Tournament.
Baseball season tickets are available by purchasing the 2022-23 Gold Card for $65.
