UAB Football Announces 2022 Broadcast Crew

BIRMINGHAM – UAB Athletics and Blazer Sports Properties have announced their new broadcasting crew for the 2022 UAB Football season.
Entering his 16th year on the call as the Voice of the Blazers, David Crane headlines UAB's broadcast crew. Crane has handled play-by-play duties since 2007 and has been on the call for some of the most memorable games and plays throughout the last two decades.
Joining Crane as the color analyst is Bryant Turner Jr., a former UAB football standout and a retired Canadian football defensive lineman. WJOX personality Landrum Roberts will assume sideline duties during the upcoming season.
Fans can listen to UAB football all season long on WJOX 94.5 FM, with Landrum Roberts once again serving as host of the pregame show that airs one hour prior to kickoff. The pregame show will broadcast live again from Todd English Pub in Uptown prior to each home game.
Coach Bryant Vincent's weekly radio show, Blazer Sportsline, will return from the Southside Buffalo Wild Wings every Monday night during the 2022 season. The hour-long program airs every week throughout the season at 6 p.m. on 100.5 FM WJQX2 and is hosted by Crane. The first show of the season airs Monday, Aug. 29, three days before kicking off the season against Alabama A&M at Protective Stadium.
UAB Football single game and away game tickets were recently made available for the 2022 season. Additionally, season tickets for the 2022 UAB Football season are also still available starting as low as $90. Season ticket packages will feature all six home games and provide the most cost-effective way to for fans to attend games during the second season at Protective Stadium.
