UAB Lands Three Players on C-USA Men’s Golf All-Conference Teams

BIRMINGHAM – Led by sophomore Khavish Varadan, the UAB men's golf team had three players earn Conference USA postseason honors, as announced by league officials.
Varadan was a First Team All-Conference USA selection, followed by Alfie Fox and Nick Robillard who earned Second Team All-Conference USA honors.
Varadan continues to add to his impressive resume as he was named the 2019 Conference USA Freshman of the Year and was a Second Team All-C-USA selection in 2020.
He leads the Blazers into NCAA Regionals with a team-best stroke average of 71.2. Varadan has won one tournament this season, has three top five finishes and seven top 20 finishes in 10 tournaments played.
Robillard and Fox have also had standout season in helping UAB make NCAAs for a second-consecutive season. Robillard has a 71.6 stroke average and led the team in tournaments at our under par (5) and rounds at our under par (21).
Fox carries a 72.4 stroke average into NCAAs and as five top 20 finishes this year. His top finish of eighth place came at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational and he earned Conference USA Golfer of the Week on Nov. 3 for his efforts.
These three have been the catalysts all season long for the Blazers who were recently selected to NCAA Regionals for the 14th time in program history. UAB is set to participate in the Stockton Regional at The Reserve at Spanos Park from May 16-18.
