Petkov Wraps Up 2022 Outdoor Track and Field Season for UAB

BLOOMINGTON- The UAB track and field team concluded its 2022 outdoor season at the Robert C. Haugh Complex tonight on the campus of Indiana University. Lisa Petkov represented UAB on the final day of NCAA East Division Preliminaries, turning in a 59.36 time in the 400m hurdles.
"Lisa ran another good race tonight," said head coach Kurt Thomas. "She came into this meet ranked in the bottom 30s and ended up 21st in the East. She competed well. We're proud of all of our NCAA qualifiers (Kat Duren, Anna Massa, Lisa Petkov). They've had great indoor and outdoor seasons and have represented UAB and themselves very well."
During the 2021-2022 season, UAB set four new school records as a team.
