"We challenged the team to leave this weekend with a PR, season best or qualify for a final," said head coach Kurt Thomas. "So far, we are on track for that. The ladies are competing hard and putting themselves in successful positions. Laney had a great Hept and scored points. Karlien and Britney Johnson fought hard for points in the discus and steeplechase. Kat, Lisa and Ebony qualified well and know what they need to do to score points tomorrow. We have had so many other seasonal bests and we want to keep that going on the final day tomorrow. We have several more scoring opportunities in 5k, Shot Put, Pole Vault, Javelin, high jump, triple jump and 4x1 and 4x4 relays. We're not done."
The Blazers will fight for a team championship tomorrow in the final day of competition.
