Men's/Women's Walkthrough Video Purchase 2022-23 MBB Season Tickets Make a Donation to Blazer Boosters

BIRMINGHAM – Wednesday marked a special day for the future of the UAB men's and women's basketball programs as the Blazers opened their new shared practice facility.

UAB opened the new facility with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony, inviting Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Mark Ingram, University President Ray Watts, head men's basketball coach Andy Kennedy, head women's basketball coach Randy Norton and Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer & Secretary of Medical Properties Trust, Inc. Emmett McLean to the podium to speak about the completed project.

The new facility features two full-sized basketball courts, player lounges and film rooms for both teams, and offices for both coaching staffs.
