UAB Baseball Adds Game with Birmingham-Southern at Rickwood Field

BIRMINGHAM —The UAB baseball team has added a nonconference game with Birmingham-Southern on March 30 at Rickwood Field. The game will be the inaugural game of the Rickwood College Classic in coordination with the Friends of Rickwood.
Game time is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch, with gates opening at 12 p.m.
Tickets for the game will be general admission for $10 and available at the gate. Kids 12 and under will receive free entry. The 2021-22 UAB Gold Card is not valid for the contest.
ABOUT RICKWOOD FIELD
Rickwood Field is America's Oldest Baseball Field, built in 1910. From 1979-1983, the UAB baseball team played its home games at Rickwood until Young Memorial Field was built in 1984.
Baseball season tickets are available by purchasing the 2021-22 Gold Card for $65. This exclusive offer grants admission to all UAB men's and women's soccer, volleyball, women's basketball and softball games in addition to all baseball home contests.
