DeWayne McBride Declares for 2023 NFL Draft

BIRMINGHAM – DeWayne McBride, one of the most decorated players in program history, has announced he will forego his senior season to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.
McBride had the greatest single season in school history which resulted in nine school records. In 11 games, he led the entire nation in total rushing yards (1,713) and rushing yards per game (155.7), while ranking second nationally in rushing touchdowns (19).
The accolades poured in for McBride, who garnered some of the most prestigious recognitions college football has to offer:
The 88th NFL Draft is scheduled for April 27-29 in Kansas City.
