Hudson, Love Groth Earn AAC All-Conference Honors

BIRMINGHAM – The American Conference released the 2022 All-Conference honors on Wednesday morning. Graduate goalkeeper Jack Hudson and freshman midfielder Mathias Love Groth each were recognized by the league's coaches.
Jack Hudson earned second team All-AAC honors after a stellar season in goal. In his first season with the Blazers, the graduate student led the league in saves while finishing second in both goals against average and save percentage. He had numerous standout performances during the 2022 season, including a shutout of No. 10 Tulsa which led to him earning American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week Honors and a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week as an honorable mention selection.
Mathias Love Groth earned AAC All-Rookie team honors in his debut season for UAB. He made 14 appearances and started four matches during conference play. He played a season high 77 minutes in the Blazers' draw with Temple.
