UAB Bowling Tie for Fourth Place at MEAC #1

BIRMINGHAM βΒ The UAB Bowling team finishΒ with a tie for fourth place at MEAC #1 β the first conference tournament of the year. The two-day tournament in Millsboro, Del. focused on win-loss records to determine the final rankings which the Blazers finished 4-4 on the weekend.Β

On Friday, UAB played five total pinfall baker matches.Β

Match one versus Delaware State β Loss (863-1,030)
Match two versus Norfolk State β Win (879-811)
Match three versus Morgan State β Win (993-968)
Match four versus Howard β Win (943-796)
Match five versus Coppin State β Win (1,001-883)

The Blazers went on a four-match winning streak and collected 3,816 total pins to finish out day one of the tournament.
