Emilia Smith Notches Top 10 Finish at The Judson

BIRMINGHAM - Junior Emilia Smith notched a top 10 finish to lead the UAB women's golf team at The Judson hosted by Southern Miss at Hattiesburg Country Club.
Smith's tournament was highlighted by shooting a two-under 70 in the final round which moved her up 12 spots into a tie for 10th place. Smith (78-72-70 = 220) shot +4 overall for the tournament.
Freshman Katrina Gustafssone was UAB's second finisher who tied for 29th overall at +9 (77-74-74 = 225). Erika Allen (73-77-76 = 226, +10) was one stroke behind Gustafssone in 34th place, and UAB's lineup was rounded out by Marilyn Steed who placed 62nd (85-83-80 = 248, +32).
The Blazers placed 10th out of 11 teams. ULM won the team title while Catharina Lohoff of South Alabama won the individual title at -1.
