Men's Tennis Travels to Chattanooga for Steve Baras Invite

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis will continue the fall slate on the road at Chattanooga. The Blazers will take on Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, Troy, Austin Peay and the hosts UT Chattanooga in the tournament.
UAB returns to action after ITA Regionals. Noah Malige and Carlos Gimenez Perez each reached the round of 16 in the Qualifying Draw. Malige won each of his first three matches against opponents from North Alabama, Troy and LSU. Gimenez Perez received a first-round bye and defeated opponents from Southern Miss and New Orleans.
Earlier this week, Roman Postolka and Carlos Gimenez Perez each competed in the ITF Pro Futures event in Tallahassee, Florida.
