UAB Cross Country Quartet Places in Top 50 at Memphis Twilight

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The UAB cross country team opened its season on Saturday night as the Blazers placed 10th at the City Auto Memphis Twilight at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.

Four Blazers finished within the Top 50 with Lauren Robinson (31st, 18:59.50) leading the way, follows by Laura Thompson (38th, 19:07.36). Seniors Britney Johnson (42nd) and Agok Ayuen (44th) rounded out the top-50 finishers for UAB.

Up next, the Green and Gold return to action on Sept. 17 at the North Alabama Showcase in Huntsville, Ala. The meet is scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m.
