HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The UAB cross country team finished 15^th in their second 5k race of the season at the North Alabama Showcase at John Hunt Cross Country Running Park in Huntsville.

Six Blazers finished within the top 150 with Laura Thompson (60^th, 18:32.95) leading the way, followed by team captain Britney Johnson (74^th, 18:52.47), and Kathleen Schellman (99^th, 19:21.47) rounded out the top 100 for the UAB Blazers.

Up Next, the Green and Gold will travel to Louisville, Ky. to participate in the Louisville Cross Country Classic on Oct 2^nd at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.
