UAB Men's Tennis Travels to Hattiesburg for Southern Miss Fall Invitational

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's tennis team will continue its 2021 fall season in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, when the Blazers compete in the Southern Miss Fall Invitational at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex on Saturday and Sunday.

UAB will face off against Southern Miss and in-state foe South Alabama during the two-day event. Doubles play will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while singles play will start at 2 p.m.

UAB's Michal Lusovsky, Thanos Spyropoulos, Parker Bradbary, Vojtech Podzemny, Martin Vasquez and Nikola Puric will all make the trip to Mississippi for UAB's second tournament of the fall.

The Blazers earned 10 combined victories in their first competition under first-year head coach Justin DeSanto this past weekend at the Samford Fall Invite No. 1.

After this weekend's tournament in Hattiesburg, the Blazers will compete in the ITA All-American Championships beginning on Oct. 2 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
