UAB Athletics Announces Kickoff Combo Ticket Package

BIRMINGHAM β The UAB Department of Athletics has announced a Kickoff Combo ticket package for UAB's first game of the season against Jacksonville State and its first game at Protective Stadium against Liberty.

The Kickoff Combo is a $30 offer for UAB's game in Montgomery on Wednesday, Sept. 1 and Protective Stadium's grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 2. The exclusive offer runs from today through Monday, Aug. 30 at 5 p.m. Β Β Β

UAB Football is exactly one week away from opening the season in the Montgomery Kickoff against Jacksonville State at the Cramton Bowl. The neutral site contest between the Blazers and Gamecocks will be the sixth meeting between the two schools with UAB holding a 3-2 advantage. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.Β

Protective Stadium's grand opening is 38 days away as the Blazers host Liberty, who finished the 2020 season at 10-1 overall and ranked No. 17 in the country. The marquee non-conference matchup is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Oct. 2.
