UAB Football Announces 2021 Broadcast Crew

BIRMINGHAM – UAB Athletics and Blazer Sports Properties have announced the broadcasting crew for the 2021 Football season.
Entering his 15th year on the call as the Voice of the Blazers, David Crane headlines UAB's broadcast crew. Crane has handled play-by-play duties since 2007 and has been on the call for some of the most memorable games and plays throughout the last two decades.
Joining Crane as the color analyst for his sixth season is Steve Irvine, while former UAB punter Trey Ragland will resume sideline duties for a fifth season.
Fans can listen to UAB football all season long on WJOX 94.5 FM, with Landrum Roberts once again serving as host of the pregame show that airs one hour prior to kickoff. For each home game this season, the pregame show will broadcast live from Todd English Pub in Uptown.
The Blazers are just eight days away from opening the 2021 season against Jacksonville State at the Cramton Bowl. Season and single game tickets, along with the Montgomery Kickoff vs. JSU can be purchased by clicking here.
