UAB Football's Game Against UTEP Moved to November 26

BIRMINGHAM β UAB's regular season finale against UTEP, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 27, has been moved to Friday, Nov. 26 at Protective Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST. Β

This will be the fifth and final game at Protective Stadium in 2021, unless the Blazers make and host the Conference USA Championship which is scheduled for Dec. 4.

UAB's home schedule also includes Protective Stadium's grand opening against Liberty (Oct. 2), Florida Atlantic (Oct. 9), Rice (Oct. 23), and Louisiana Tech (Nov. 6).

UAB is 6-1 all-time against UTEP and is 3-0 against the Miners since returning to action in 2017. The last meeting between the two schools was a 37-10 Blazer victory in Birmingham on Nov. 16, 2019.

The Blazers are just nine days away from opening the 2021 season on ESPN in the Montgomery Kickoff against Jacksonville State. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 6:30 p.m. CST.
