Men’s Tennis Falls at Tennessee Tech in Easter Match

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's tennis team dropped its Easter day match, 6-1, at Tennessee Tech on Sunday afternoon in Cookeville, Tenn.
UAB won the doubles point with wins on courts two and three as Daniel Janko/Vojtech Podzemny topped Carlos Vicente/Rafael Tosetto, 6-1, before Thanos Spyropoulos/Giovani Pasini overcame Elias Grubert/Mika Berghaus, 6-3.
Tennessee Tech swept in singles play, winning all six matches.
The Blazers return to the courts on Friday as UAB men's tennis celebrates Senior Day at the UAB Campus Courts. First serve against Georgia State is scheduled for 2 p.m.
