UAB Men's Basketball Launches 2021-22 Commercial

BIRMINGHAM – As the UAB men's basketball team prepares for its regular season opener on Tuesday, the preseason favorites to win the Conference USA regular season championship have released their commercial for the 2021-22 season.
The commercial starts by celebrating UAB's extensive men's basketball success including highlights from key moments in UAB basketball history. It then transitions into a message of a resurgence of the UAB program under alumnus and second-year head coach Andy Kennedy, once again establishing the "Bartow Standard" of bringing home championships to Birmingham.
The Blazers have made 15 NCAA Tournament appearances, advancing to three Sweet 16s and an Elite 8 over 43 seasons. UAB has also won seven regular season titles and five postseason championships.
The 2021-22 UAB men's basketball commercial will debut on television this week, and it will continue to air throughout the season. The 2021-22 UAB men's basketball commercial was produced by Champ Creative Co.
UAB will open its regular season schedule against UNC Asheville on Nov. 9. The Blazers' matchup against the Bulldogs will mark the 500th regular season contest in Bartow Arena.
