Men's Tennis Concludes Fall Season at CCB Collegiate Invite

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's tennis team will make the short trip to the Country Club of Birmingham for the CCB Collegiate Invite beginning on Friday. Four Blazers will close out UAB's fall schedule this weekend.

Michal Lusovsky, Vojtech Podzemny, Martin Vasquez and Parker Bradbary will compete for the Green and Gold. Lusovsky and Podzemny along with Vasquez and Bradbary will also team up in doubles play.

The Blazers will compete against opponents from Tulane, South Alabama, Nicholls State, Bellarmine, Lipscomb and Louisiana.

Matches will begin at 9 a.m. each day, beginning with doubles play at 9 a.m. on Friday.

Lusovsky advanced to the Round of 16 in doubles play at the ITA Southern Regionals in October, earning a pair of victories. Podzemny also earned a victory in consolation play at the ITA Southern Regionals held at Auburn's Yarbrough Tennis Center.
