UAB Homecoming Game vs. Rice Set for 2:30 p.m. Kickoff

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics has announced that UAB Football's Homecoming game against Rice on Oct. 23 at Protective Stadium has been scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+.
As part of UAB's Homecoming tradition, the Blazers will once again honor Children's Harbor by wearing the names of 100 patients on the back of their alternate grey and lime jerseys.
This will be the fifth year honoring Children's Harbor and UAB is 4-0 in those four previous Homecoming games dating back to 2017. The Blazers are also 4-0 against Rice since 2017 and own a 6-3 overall advantage in the series.
UAB Football single game tickets at Protective Stadium start as low as $20 and can be purchased by clicking here or calling the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at 205-975-UAB1.
Discounted group tickets and fan experiences are also available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets to any home football game during the 2021 season. Complete the UAB Football Group Ticket Request Form or download the UAB Football Group Ticket Order Form by visiting the group tickets page.
