MOBILE, Ala. — The UAB cross country team finished third in the Azalea City Classic, hosted by South Alabama to begin the 2020 season Friday.

Individually, sophomore Lauren Robinson led the way with a sixth-place finish with a time of 19:04.5. Freshman Isabel Valenzuela and junior Britney Johnson also had top 10 finishes with times of 19:19.0 and 19:28.4 respectively.
