UAB Lands 244 Student-Athletes on C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics had 244 student-athletes land on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, the league announced on Thursday.
Student-athletes who earned a spot on the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher for the 2019-20 academic year.
"It's no surprise to me that we have this many student-athletes on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll. We have and will continue to excel in the classroom," said UAB Director of Athletics Mark Ingram. "Not only can we attribute this honor to our student-athletes, but to the coaches who recruited them and the outstanding academic staff who works with them every day."
UAB had representation from all 18 of its teams on the 2019-20 Commissioner's Honor Roll. Overall, C-USA had 3,143 student-athletes on the list, an 8% increase from last year.

Conference USA will announce its Academic Medal on Friday, which is student-athletes who maintained a 3.75 GPA or higher.
