UAB Football to Host Virtual Tailgate for Season Ticket Holders

BIRMINGHAM – UAB Football will host a virtual tailgate for season ticket holders on Tuesday, May 19, at 4 p.m. via Zoom. Fans are encouraged to create their own virtual tailgates from home, wear green & gold, and share in their enthusiasm with other Blazer fans leading into the 2020 season.
Head Coach Bill Clark will be joining Director of Athletics Mark Ingram for the event. Exclusive updates regarding Protective Stadium progress will be discussed along with a preview of the UAB football season ahead. Members of the football team's coaching staff are also going to be available for the virtual tailgate which is scheduled for an hour.
"Our fans have been so loyal to the UAB Football program, and despite these unusual circumstances, this is a fun way to show our appreciation," head coach Bill Clark said. "We are very optimistic leading into the 2020 season and the virtual tailgate will give season ticket holders an exclusive look at what to expect from the Blazers this season."
An invitation to the virtual tailgate will be sent via email to patrons who have purchased or renewed their 2020 UAB Football season ticket holders by the May 15th football priority deadline. Access to the event is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis for the first 250 people. With the priority deadline extended to May 15, current football season ticket holders can click here to renew their seats for the 2020 season. Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets can do so for as low as $75 with the Family Four Pack season ticket. As a reminder, 2020 Blazer Boosters members and season ticket holders will have top priority for seats leading into Protective Stadium in 2021.
