Blazer Boosters to Host Holding Court with Andy Kennedy in May and June

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB Department of Athletics has announced Holding Court with Andy Kennedy, taking place weekly on Thursday afternoons at 4 p.m. throughout the months of May and June 2020. Director of Athletics Mark Ingram will serve as host and provide season ticket holders and Blazer Boosters members the opportunity to get to know new head men's basketball coach Andy Kennedy through interactive Zoom calls.
This virtual initiative is an opportunity for Blazer fans to come together and share in their enthusiasm for UAB Basketball under newly appointed head men's basketball coach Andy Kennedy. Exclusive calls will include an update on UAB Athletics, key insights from Coach Kennedy, and a Question and Answer session with participants during each call.
In partnership with Blazer Boosters, fans are asked to wear green and gold and can utilize custom backgrounds including images of Bartow Arena here. Screenshots and other fan interaction during the calls can be shared on social media using #WinAsOne.
2019 and 2020 Blazer Boosters members along with current men's basketball season ticket holders will receive an exclusive email invitation for Holding Court with Andy Kennedy along with details about how to sign up. Weekly calls will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
2020-21 UAB men's basketball season tickets are on sale now. Current basketball season ticket holders can click here to renew their seats for the upcoming season. Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets can do so starting as low as $100 with the Blaze's Corner season ticket.
