Clark Family and Chevy Donate $10,000 to Meals for Heroes

BIRMINGHAM – Bill and Jennifer Clark, along with The Heart of Alabama Chevy Dealers, have donated $10,000 to Meals for Heroes to help support the doctors and nurses on the front lines fighting COVID-19.
On Thursday, the Clark family helped deliver 400 boxed lunches from Newk's Eatery to UAB Hospital for the heroes on the frontlines who are focused on combatting the world-wide pandemic.
Meals for Heroes can be found on the new website Help UAB Fight COVID-19. Along with being able to donate to Meals for Heroes, this website allows you to give your support, express your thanks, and track your symptoms.
The UAB Department of Athletics is asking Blazer Nation to join UAB in the fight against COVID-19. In addition to the Meals for Heroes initiative, please join by showing your appreciation on the Caregiver Wall of Thanks as medical professionals work tirelessly to prevent the spread of coronavirus and provide exceptional patient care during these challenging times.
