UAB’s Football Game at Miami Changed to Thursday, Sept. 17

BIRMINGHAM – UAB's football game at Miami that was originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, has been moved to Thursday, Sept. 17.
Broadcast information and a kickoff time will be confirmed in May. The game will be played at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
This will be the first meeting between the Blazers and the Hurricanes. UAB will have 12 players on its roster in 2020 from the state of Florida, including five from Miami (Kristopher Moll, LJ Smith III, Lucious Stanley, Mi'Cario Stanley, and Austin Watkins Jr.).
UAB now has two Thursday night games on the schedule in 2020. Along with this game at Miami, UAB opens the season on a Thursday night at home for a third straight year as the Blazers host New Mexico State on Sept. 3.

As a reminder, 2020 Blazer Boosters members and season ticket holders will have top priority for seats leading into Protective Stadium. Build your priority now as both seating and parking will be allocated based on the Blazer Boosters Priority Point System. Priority points are accumulated by giving through Blazer Boosters and purchasing season tickets for consecutive years which establishes a ranking system during the allocation process.
