BIRMINGHAM - The UAB Department of Athletics has announced that Blazer Boosters will host virtual town hall meetings to discuss UAB Football at Protective Stadium. The meetings will take place monthly starting in November and will be available to fans during various dates and times.
UAB Director of Athletics Mark Ingram will serve as host and provide Blazer fans with exclusive updates on stadium construction progress, an overview the seat selection process, and an opportunity to ask questions to members of the UAB Athletics staff as the Blazers prepare to make Protective Stadium their home during the 2021 football season. This virtual initiative is an opportunity for fans to come together to share in their enthusiasm for the future home of UAB Football while ensuring Blazer Nation can secure the best seats possible leading into the 2021 season.
Fans may select their preferred date and time here, and each virtual meeting will have limited availability. Instructions with your exclusive login information will be sent out 24 hours prior to the meeting via email. In addition, if a company or group is interested in scheduling a private virtual meeting, please reach out to Blazer Boosters at (205) 996-9969 or blazerboosters@uab.edu.
Blazer fans are also encouraged to complete their Protective Stadium Letter of Intent, which secures an appointment time during the 2021 seat selection process.
The 2021 UAB Football priority seat allocation will begin in April 2021. The order of selection will be based upon the Blazer Boosters Priority Points system, which rewards Blazer fans for their generosity and loyalty. Commit now as Blazer Boosters members and 2020 season ticket holders will have top priority for seats leading into the 2021 season. Priority points and donor rank will include all support for UAB Athletics completed by the April 1, 2021, UAB Football priority seat deadline.
For more information, please contact Blazer Boosters at (205) 996-9969 or blazerboosters@uab.edu.
