BIRMINGHAM - "The only place that's ever been home, is this one."

UAB head men's basketball coach Andy Kennedy declared that phrase as he stepped onto the Bartow Arena floor for the first time as the Blazers seventh head coach in program history on March 20, 2020.

As tipoff of this highly anticipated season draws near, the Blazers have launched their 2020-21 promotional spot for the season. Filmed throughout the city of Birmingham, the theme focuses on "home".

And for Coach Kennedy, home is Bartow Arena.

"Home is where the heart is," Kennedy said. "I'm excited to be the head coach of this program and returning it to the Bartow Standard."

The season begins Nov. 25 against Alcorn State. Tipoff at Bartow Arena is 2:30 p.m.
