Men’s Tennis Completes Final Fall Tournament in Murfreesboro

MURFREESBORO, Tenn – The UAB men's tennis team wrapped up play at its second and final tournament of the fall, Middle Tennessee's Buck Bouldin Battle of the Boro, on Sunday afternoon.
The Blazers competed against opponents from the hosting Blue Raiders, South Alabama and Chattanooga.
Giovani Pasini and Parker Bradbary represented the Green and Gold at the event, matching up with Chattanooga's Simon Labbe and Turner Voges in doubles on day one, falling 6-3. Bradbary overcame the Mocs' Jordan McClure in singles, 7-6, 7-6, before Pasini was defeated by Chattanooga's Quinten Nevenhoven, 6-3, 6-1.
On day two, Pasini and Bradbarty faced another pairing from Chattanooga, Nevenhoven and Jacob Marshall, in doubles, and fell, 7-6. Both Blazers faced players from Middle Tennessee in singles, with Pasini dropping a match to Andreas Kramer, 6-3, 1-6, 10-8, and Bradbary falling to Patrick Kristensen, 3-6, 6-3, 10-6.
On the final day of the event, Pasini and Bradbary took on Middle Tennessee's Kramer and Oskar Michalek in doubles, with the Blue Raiders coming out on top, 6-1. Bradbary claimed his second singles win of the event on Sunday, topping Chattanooga's Bo Nash, 6-1, 6-2. Pasini was defeated via walkover by the Mocs' Voges.
The Blazers are set to return to on-court action when the spring 2021 season begins early next year.
