Women’s Basketball to Host Inaugural Brunch with the Blazers Event

BIRMINGHAM- The UAB women's basketball team is hosting its inaugural Brunch with the Blazers fundraising event on Oct. 12 at Bartow Arena.
Come to Bartow Arena to spend time with the 2019-20 UAB women's basketball team. The Blazers are gearing up for what is sure to be another successful season and they want the fans to be a part of the journey.
Fans will have the opportunity to watch the last hour of women's basketball practice followed by a brunch with the team on the floor of Bartow Arena. There will be a Q&A session where fans will have an open floor to ask questions to the players and coaches. The team will sign autographs and there will be plenty of photo opportunities at the event.
Brunch with the Blazers is open to the public and tickets cost $20 per person. The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door, but fans are strongly encouraged to buy tickets ahead of time by using the link provided in the story.
Entry to the event will be located at the 14thStreet entrance of Bartow Arena. Parking is free on Saturdays in the areas surrounding the arena.
