Blazer Boosters Announces Modifications to UAB’s B Club

BIRMINGHAM - Blazer Boosters has announced changes to UAB's B Club membership and benefit structure in an effort to increase participation and more closely align with the mission of UAB Athletics. UAB's B Club is the official organization that recognizes and coordinates former Blazer student-athletes of all sports to keep them engaged with UAB.
Former Blazer student-athletes who make a minimum contribution of $100 annually to any Blazer Boosters initiative will be considered an active B Club member. B Club members will receive invitations to annual networking events designed to help attendees reconnect with teammates and other former letter winners as well as invitations to participate in academic celebrations and service focused opportunities with current Blazer student-athletes. Active members will receive an exclusive B Club memorabilia item to recognize their annual membership.
Blazer Boosters is the official fundraising arm of UAB Athletics and serves as the primary source of revenue for the athletics department. Members of Blazer Boosters give in support of student-athlete scholarships, capital projects or facility enhancements, and individual sport gift accounts. B Club updates and stories featuring former UAB student-athletes can be found in the Blazer Bulletin which is emailed to all active Blazer Boosters members on a monthly basis.
