Blazers Hold Employee Appreciation Day for Practice No. 10

BIRMINGHAM - Hosting Employee Appreciation Day, the UAB football team had its 10th practice of spring ball on Thursday morning at the Football Operations Center.
Along with having free coffee and donuts, UAB employees were allowed to stay for practice and watch the 2019 Blazers as a thank you for their continued support throughout the program's return to prominence.
It was a full padded practice but tackling was limited on Thursday as UAB will go again on Saturday, followed by three more practices next week before the Pepsi Spring Game on April 6.
Along with the Pepsi Spring Game, there are a few key dates to keep in mind.
The season ticket priority deadline of April 1 is rapidly approaching. Click here to renew or purchase your 2019 season tickets.
Friday, April 5, marks the third annual Bill Clark Golf Tournament at Bent Brook Golf Club. There is still time to register and information can be found by clicking here.
The following day, April 6, is the Pepsi Spring Game at Legion Field with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m., while the weekend concludes with the third annual Dragon Egg Hunt at the Football Operations Center.
