Men’s Golf Sits in Seventh After 36 Holes at Schenkel Invitational

STATESBORO, Ga. – The UAB men's golf team will enter the final round of the Schenkel Invitational in seventh place after a collective round two score of +10 on Saturday at Forest Heights Country Club.
For the tournament, the Blazers are 14 over par and sit 10 strokes behind Kentucky who is in sixth place at +4.
Nick Robillard is pacing the Blazers as he is tied for 28th overall at +3. After shooting an opening round 73, the Birmingham native followed that up with a two-over 74 on Saturday and enters the final round 10 shots off the lead, which is currently held by Steven Fisk of Georgia Southern (-7).
Murray Naysmith (+4) is currently tied for 35th, while William Walker III and John Hayden are one shot behind Naysmith at +5 and are tied for 43rd overall. John Snoddy at +7 (T52) rounds out UAB's lineup.
East Tennessee State is the leader in the clubhouse after two rounds at -11. Mississippi State (-8), Georgia Southern (-6), College of Charleston (-1) and Notre Dame (-1) round out the top five.
