Baseball Begins First Full Week of Fall Practice

BIRMINGHAM – After a pair of intersquad scrimmages over the weekend, the UAB baseball team begins its first full week of fall practice on Monday.

The Blazers will practice Monday from 1:30-4:30, before taking Tuesday off. UAB resumes practice on Wednesday and Thursday from 1:30-4:40. On Friday, Oct. 5 the Blazers are set to host junior college power Wallace-Hanceville in a scrimmage with first pitch scheduled for 1:30. The week concludes on Saturday with UAB playing another intersquad game, beginning at 11 a.m.

All games and practices are free and open to the public with all events taking place at Young Memorial Field. Times are subject to change without notice.
