Analyse Petree Named Conference USA Spirit of Service Award Winner

IRVING, Texas – Junior Analyse Petree has been named a Conference USA Spirit of Service award winner, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

Conference USA awards 14 student-athletes with the C-USA Spring Spirit of Service Award. The award is designed to recognize the community service efforts of the league's student-athletes based upon significant community service, good academic standing and participation in their elected sport. The honor is presented three times throughout the season, for fall, winter and spring student-athletes.

Petree has given her time to the Ronald McDonald House, the Children's of Alabama Hospital and the Miracle League of Gardendale in support of the Birmingham, Ala. community. She also finished her junior year with a 3.84 GPA in sociology and earned the Commissioner's Academic Medal and C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition.

The Apopka, Fla. native also earned a spot on the 2018 C-USA Softball All-Academic Team. Petree tied for the team lead in home runs this past season with nine and was second on the team in slugging percentage (.537).
