UAB Football to Host Coaching Clinic March 7-9

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB football coaching staff will host the second annual Hellas Construction Birmingham Coaching Clinic March 7-9 on the campus of UAB.
The coaching clinic, which is in conjunction with UAB's Pro Day on March 8, is an excellent way for local coaches of all levels to connect with and learn from the top professional, college, and high school minds in the game.
Registration for the clinic opens on Wednesday, March 7, at 1 p.m. at Legacy Pavilion. There will be a welcome dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. before various guest speakers that evening, highlighted by Executive Director of the Reese's Senior Bowl Phil Savage.
Thursday opens with a 7 a.m. breakfast which includes a program by Tavon Arrington, UAB football's team chaplain, followed by UAB's Pro Day Combine testing at 8 a.m. and a Rising Senior Combine Clinic at 9:30 a.m. Former Dallas Cowboy and UAB Blazer Izell Reese will headline the lunchtime session, while the afternoon will be filled with speakers from the NFL and CFL, and Live Drill Teaching sessions led by current NFL players.
The clinic will conclude Friday after talks on cultivating a winning mindset, covering eligibility, and a UAB football training session.
Featuring over 50 guest speakers, the clinic also includes current NFL stars and former Blazers Jordan Howard, Matt McCants, J.J. Nelson, Joe Webb and more.
Registration for an individual coach is $60, while a staff pass for six or more coaches is $300 and grants access to all sessions (including food and beverage hospitality events), as well as the UAB Pro Day on March 8. All registration access privileges will be subject to NCAA rules and space will be limited.
