UAB Football Adds 16 Players on NLI Early Signing Day

BIRMINGHAM β Not even 24 hours removed from its 37-13 victory over NIU in the Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl, the UAB football team added 16 players to its 2019 roster during Wednesday's early signing period.

Of those 16 players, 12 are coming straight from high school and four from junior college, while nine signees hail from Alabama, three from Georgia, two from Florida, and one apiece from Mississippi and Maryland.

"We are thrilled with the 16 players we signed and they have a chance to come in and compete for playing time right away," head coach Bill Clark said. "This class is eager to help continue our program's momentum as we strive to compete for championships year-in and year-out."
