UAB Women’s Golf set for Cardinal Cup in Louisville

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB women's golf will participate in the Cardinal Cup hosted by the University of Louisville on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20-21, at the UofL Golf Club.
UAB will be joined by a field which consists of Ball State, Chattanooga, East Carolina, East Tennessee, Illinois, Louisville, Maryland, Murray State, Ole Miss, Richmond, Toledo, WKU and Wisconsin.
The par 72, 6,303-yard course will feature 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. The Blazers' lineup is comprised of Kendall Johnson, Maria Donado, Tia Teiniketo, Lexie Dawson and Kenna Hughes.
The Blazers most recently participated in the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational hosted by UTSA in which weather shortened the tournament to just 36 holes. UAB finished eighth overall.
