Conference USA Basketball Championships Just One Month Away

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Officially one month away from the Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, don’t miss your opportunity to witness the Madness from March 8-11 at Bartow and Legacy Arena.
"Birmingham and UAB have been wonderful hosts over the past two seasons, featuring tremendous hospitality from the community and providing a pair of top-notch arenas," Conference USA Commissioner Judy MacLeod said. "Additionally, the city's proximity to many of our member schools allows even more fans to participate in this showcase event."
All four rounds of the men’s tournament will take place at Legacy Arena downtown, while the first two rounds of the women’s tournament will be played at Bartow Arena on UAB’s campus, followed by the semifinals and final being played at Legacy Arena.
Tickets to the C-USA Championships are on sale now. All-Session tickets provide access to all six sessions at Legacy, and include access to the first two rounds of the women’s tournament at Bartow Arena. Single session tickets will go on sale March 6.
Premium reserved seating at Legacy Arena in Sections 8, 9, 24 and 25, Rows A-F are $250. Fans can purchase side court reserved seating for $180, while baseline reserved is $100. For additional information, call the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at (205) 975-UAB1.
The top 12 teams in the league will vie for an automatic berth into the 2017 NCAA Tournament. The men’s tournament will start on Wednesday, March 8, at 11:30 a.m. The women’s tournament will also start on March 8, with first tip set for 12:30 p.m. Click here for a full schedule of events for the men and for the women.
