Keur Continues Strong Play at Tavistock Collegiate

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Senior R.J. Keur continued his steady play by shooting even par on Monday in the second round of the Tavistock Collegiate at Isleworth Country Club.
Keur followed up his opening round 71 with an even par 72 and is now in a tie for 16th place with three other golfers at -1 entering tomorrow's final round.
The entire field will be chasing Dylan Meyer of Illinois who has a six stroke lead at -11. Gordon Neale and John Axelsen of Florida are tied for second at -5.
Meyer has helped Illinois gain a two stroke lead over Florida heading into the final 18 holes. The Illini is at -11 as a team and is followed by the Gators (-9), California (-2), Vanderbilt (+2) and Auburn (+3). UAB is currently tied for 14th at +19.
UAB's John Racciatti and Murray Naysmith are in a tie for 52nd at +6, while Taylor Eyster is two strokes behind at +8.
Elsewhere, John Hayden and Nick Robillard competed as individuals in the opening round of the Samford Intercollegiate today at Greystone. Hayden shot a two over 74 and is tied for 10th, while Robillard was four over and is tied for 19th.
