Jumpstart Blazer Club Extended Until May 1

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - With the recent hiring of Robert Ehsan as the sixth men's basketball head coach in program history, the UAB Department of Athletics has extended the 2016 Jumpstart Blazer Club deadline. The Jumpstart Blazer Club basketball period allows fans to be a part of the promising 2016-17 UAB Men's Basketball season while building Bartow Arena into one of the strongest home court advantages in college basketball.
"This is a team that is dedicated to building on our momentum and continuing what we've started. I think we are all thrilled to be doing this together, and we're ready to work," Ehsan said.
Be the Difference next season by committing to 2016-17 men's basketball season tickets today. A request for 2016-17 season tickets can be made in the following ways during the Jumpstart Blazer Club period:
- For sections that require the per-seat scholarship contribution, submit your 2016 Blazer Club donation to request your season tickets. Payment plans are available through the September 1, 2016 deadline, and the full season ticket cost will be invoiced in Summer 2016.
- For sections that require no scholarship donation, a $50 per seat deposit for new season ticket holders can secure your location of interest. The balance of the season ticket cost will be invoiced in Summer 2016.
The Jumpstart Blazer Club basketball period will now conclude on May 1, 2016. The renewal deadline for existing Blazer Club men's basketball season ticket holders remains September 1, 2016, but join by May 1 in order to take advantage of these early Jumpstart Blazer Club benefits:
- Demand for men's basketball priority seating is high, so secure your seats today!
- Take advantage of an extended Blazer Club payment plan between now and September 2016
- Jumpstart Blazer Club basketball reception with the men's basketball coaching staff in June 2016
- Autographed mini basketball signed by UAB head coach Robert Ehsan
