List of Student-Athletes Awarded

IRVING, Texas – A total of 604 student-athletes and 42 from UAB have earned the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal during the 2015-16 academic year, Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced on Wednesday.

Medals are given to those Conference USA student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.

Women’s soccer placed the highest number of student-athletes of the 42 produced by UAB, finishing with 13 individuals who earned a medal. Cross country/track and field followed with five, while men’s soccer, softball and volleyball all featured four student-athletes.
