Men's Golf Update: Bandon Dunes Championship

BANDON, Ore. - The UAB men's golf team moved up two spots to fourth place at the Brandon Dunes Championship, shooting a collective 283 on the second day of the tournament.
"The boys were challenged to respond today with a good round, and they did," head coach Alan Murray said. "Taylor Eyster and Lee Hodges both had a steady -1, and Will Cannon shot even with par. We closed the gap on some teams ahead of us and moved up the leaderboard."
Cannon and Martin Rohwer find themselves tied for seventh and ninth, respectively. Cannon shot a 72 and Rohwer a 71 in the second round.
The teams begin teeing off at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning to begin their second round. Live scoring is available at GolfStat.com.
