MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The UAB men’s tennis team dropped its second match of the MT Spring Showcase, 4-2, to No. 66 Georgia State.

In singles play, UAB led on courts three and four; but it was too late as Georgia State claimed wins on courts 2, 5 and 6 for the win.

Mitchell Martell responded as he earned his fourth win in five matches for UAB in the top seed with a 6-1, 6-4 dominating performance over Jannis Koeke to cut the Panthers’ lead to one, 2-1.
