UAB Celebrates 22 Blazer Student-Athlete Graduates

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB Department of Athletics celebrates the graduation of 22 current and former student-athletes during this year’s fall ceremony. The group is comprised of student-athletes from five countries, seven states and nine programs – led by football with eight graduates.
In the spring, Stephen Baggett of UAB baseball was earned the Conference USA Academic Medal, which is given to students with a 3.75 GPA or higher, while nine of the graduates were named to the C-USA Honor Roll, which acknowledges student-athletes with a 3.0 GPA or better.
