Blazers Launch UAB Gameday Mobile App

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB Department of Athletics, in conjunction with Blazer IMG Sports Marketing and SportsLabs, a leading digital sports technology company, have launched the UAB Gameday Mobile App presented by Mountain Dew to enhance Blazer fans' game day experience.
UAB Gameday provides the full social aspect of Blazer Athletics at your fingertips, and includes features such as:
- Free live audio stream of UAB sporting events, including football and basketball
- Real time scores and stats
- UAB Athletics social media feeds on Twitter and Instagram
- Ability to purchase tickets
- User friendly parking maps and other game day information
- Location based alerts and in-game information
- Donate to Blazer Boosters
- Downloadable ringtones and fight songs
"We want to continually enhance the experience of UAB students and fans at our athletics events and this app will contribute to that," Director of Athletics Mark Ingram said. "SportsLabs is the leader in this digital sports technology and this will provide our fans easy and user friendly access to UAB Athletics."
Additionally, UAB Gameday will increase the student and fan experience at UAB and in Birmingham with location based alerts provided by geo-fencing to increase fan engagement and interaction.
