BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB women's soccer team is set to defend West Campus Field on Friday against Coastal Carolina for the second home match of the season. Game time is set for 7 p.m. CT.

Friday's Promotions
The first 50 fans in attendance of tomorrow's match will receive an autographed poster from UAB women's soccer.
The buff promotion originally scheduled for the Coastal Carolina match will now be rescheduled for the Sunday, Oct. 11 match with Western Kentucky as part of family weekend festivities.
UAB Notes
The Series Against Coastal Carolina
UAB and Coastal Carolina have only met one time in program history with the lone meeting dating to back to the 2013 season.
The Blazers hold the single victory over Coastal Carolina when UAB claimed a 3-1 win over the Chanticleers in Conway, S.C. This is the first meeting between the two programs at West Campus Field.
Scouting the Opponent
Coastal Carolina enters Friday's contest with a 2-2 record with the Chanticleers picking up wins over Wofford, 2-1, and Georgia Southern, 2-1. Coastal Carolina's two defeats came at the hands of C-USA's Charlotte, 4-1, and most recently No. 15 South Carolina, 3-2.
Daniella Famili leads the Chanticleers with five points on the season (two goals, one assist). Becca Austin has been in-goal for Coastal Carolina all season, averaging 2.25 goals against with 24 saves.
