Blazer Block Party Coming Up Saturday, April 11

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- UAB fans are invited to the Blazer Block Party to be held on Saturday, April 11.
The event will be held from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on the west side of campus, adjacent to Young Memorial Field and the UAB Softball Field. 
Featured events that day will include the Blazers' softball doubleheader against Louisiana Tech at 1 p.m. and the UAB baseball team's game with Rice at 2 p.m.
This year, the athletic department is partnering with the University's Student Activities Council which annually holds Springfest, an event to celebrate the end of the school year.
UAB students, alumni and fans of the Blazers attending the event will enjoy plenty of family-friendly activities, including inflatables, face painting, carnival games, Blaze and more.
